Kick off your Thanksgiving Day with a great workout and run or walk our 3.1 mile route, starting and ending at Springfield Hospital. Those who pre-register will receive a t-shirt. This will be a timed event and medals will be awarded for top male and female. Other fun prizes will be awarded as well, so grab your family and friends, wear a costume and come join us! The cost of the race is $20 if you register before November 1st and $25 after.

Check in and registration will open at 8:00 a.m with the race beginning at 9:00 a.m.

 

Parking is available in the Springfield Hospital main parking lot at the top of Ridgewood Road
or behind in the employee lot.  Please dress appropriately for a November race.

 

Awards and results will be available at 10:00 a.m.

 

 

Event Sponsorship

We cordially invite you to participate as a sponsor of the 7th Annual EdgarMay Thanksgiving Day 5k.  This event raises money to provide health and wellness opportunities for youth, families, and seniors in our region though the Edgar May Health and Recreation Center’s Access For All Scholarship Program.  Your sponsorship helps to defray the cost of organizing the events.  Funds received from sponsorships are used to purchase t-shirts for registered participants, awards, and making sure the event is a great success.  Any additional money from sponsorships will help go towards the EdgarMay’s Scholarship Program.  The scholarship program provides more than 400 individuals with financial support towards pursuing an active and healthy lifestyle.
