Strength Training with Stephanie

Cable machines, free weights, barbells and bosu balls, nothing but strength in this one-hour class.  This full body workout will leave you feeling stronger each week.  You will learn basic form and more advanced movements as the class utilizes all the equipment in the weight room.

 

Kettlebells with Stephanie

Upper body, lower body, CORE, and a full body workout using just kettlebells.  Learn the basics through this 4-week program and find yourself improving each week as the workouts get more complex.  Come switch up your workout with just ONE kettlebell.

 

Core Camp

Nothing but 30-minutes of intense core work once a week!  Learn new ab exercise ideas outside of that basic plank or crunch that will leave your core burning and ready for the next session!

 

Foam Rolling

After a long week are muscles are begging for some attention. What better way to treat them than with a little muscle lengthening and self-myofascial release. Learn how to properly foam roll and stretch to help muscles recover better and improve muscle gains!

 

Obstacle Course 101 with Ashley

A two-part, 8 week program designed to target specific muscle groups that will make your race Faster and Easier! We will perform simulations of obstacles to include, spear throw, bucket and sandbag carry, Barbwire Crawl and more! Throughout the program we will also be focusing on the pros and cons to each accessory you may be wondering about bringing along with you, the essentials for pre and post-race and tips and tricks for the course.

 

Move To Fit with Ashley

4 Week Program to transition people from the M2I to the Gym facility. We will be working on Balance & Stability in the kinetic chain and building foundations through good form while isolating functional muscle groups to keep people moving efficiently. This class will also include building confidence in a Gym setting.

 

Bone Builders with Kathy

This resistance training class is perfect for those who want to increase muscle and bone strength. Bone Builders is perfect for those looking to increase strength or those suffering from to osteopenia or osteoporosis.  This class will place a big emphasis on lifting technique and will be great for those looking to reduce the risk of falls. 

 

Xtreme HIIT Water Training with Kathy

If lean body mass is your goal, this is the class for you.  A variety of high intensity interval training methods, including tabata, will be facilitated.  This workout can be done in shallow or deep water.  Resistance tubes will also be used to increase strength.

 

Power and Plyos with Jordan

In this four week program participants will learn what plyometrics are, why they are important, as well as how to perform and apply these exercises to our own programs.  While guided by an instructor participants will perform a warmup routine before proceeding to the exercises being taught that day. Exercises will include, agility ladders, medicine ball routines, short burst cardio movements such as battle ropes and box jumps.  Anything that will increase mobility, short burst cardio, and improve fast twitch muscle are all on the table!

 

Powerlifting for Functional Training with Jordan

In this four week program participants will learn 3 fundamental powerlifting techniques: the squat, deadlift, and bench press. Topics covered will include how these exercises are performed, how they are applied safely and successfully into an exercise program, as well as using these lifts in high repetition and building a foundation to achieve your one rep max.

 

Yoga on the Mountain with Aimee

Enjoy 2-hours and all Mt. Ephraim has to offer while taking time for warrior pose on the trail, sun salutations on rocks or grass, and tree poses with real trees.  This hike and exercise series is for those who can successfully navigate 400 feet of elevation gain.  Bring a snack or picnic to enjoy at the top and remember your water.
