Peanut Butter Chocolate Flax Balls

These quick treats are the best of both worlds! Filling and taste good! The power balls are a great alternative to a sugary snack or dessert. Packed with protein from the peanut butter and lots of fiber and other nutrients from the flax seeds, Peanut Butter Chocolate Flax Balls give you a little bit of everything you need to satisfy your craving.


1 ½ cup smooth natural peanut butter

1/3 cup maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/3 cup flax seed or flax meal

3 cups brown or whole grain Rice Krispies

½ cup chocolate chips


Mix peanut butter, maple syrup & vanilla in bowl. Add flax seed/meal & brown Rice Krispies, mix well. Leave bowl in the fridge for 30 minutes. Remove bowl and s

coop out 1-2 tablespoons of mixture & form it into a ball, pace ball on a pan. Repeat scooping method until pan is full. Melt chocolate chips in microwave safe bowl. Drizzle chocolate over the balls. Place the pan in the fridge for 1 hour until chocolate is hard & balls are firm. Enjoy as a quick snack!
