21 Day Sugar Detox
When: October 12th - November 1st
Cost: $21 Members / $40 Non-Members
What: Like so many others, you may experience a mid-afternoon sugar craving, or maybe an after dinner treat. To help you tackle these sugar cravings we will be running the 21 Day Sugar Detox, a virtual program. Daily emails will guide and support you through the four phases of the detox with menu outlines, recipes & motivation for success. You may see results such as inches lost, increased energy & improved sleep.
Prescription for Family Wellness
What: What better way to meet your health related goals than with the support of your family! The Healthy Living Department is now offering an 8 week wellness program centered around your family. Topics may include nutrition, increasing activity, sleep habits, goal setting or overall wellness. Services may be in the form of wellness coaching, fitness training, group challenges or one-on-one support for teens! If your family has one or more children under the age of 22 you may qualify to meet with wellness coach Corrina Johnson for 30 minutes per week for 8 weeks. Feel stuck with your health progress but not sure what needs to change? Eating "well" and exercising "regularly" but still not seeing and experiencing the results you want? Virtual Cooking Class!
When: Every Tuesday in November 5:15-6:15pm
What: EdgarMay's first ever ADULT cooking class! FREE to members, with a limit of 6 participants. Held via Zoom, class will be dedicated to learning and preparing nutrient dense, produce focused, classic with a twist, meals. Recipes each week will be sent out prior to class, participants are required to purchase their own ingredients. Class will review basic cooking skill but will primarily focus on how to transform raw ingredients into quick meals. Sign up here!
