Warm Water Works Wonders on Pain
Our warm water therapy pool, with water heated to 92 degrees, provides indviduals the opportunity to rehabilitate an injured joint, relieve pain, improve balance and strength. Research has shown warm water therapy works wonders for all kinds of musculoskeletal complaints, including fibromyalgia, arthritis and low back pain. The pool features three different depths for a variety of exercise options.

Aquatics Physical Therapy
Aquatic Physical Therapy is the evidence-based and skilled practice of physical therapy in an aquatic environment by a physical therapist or a physical therapist assistant under the supervision of a physical therapist. Aquatic Physical Therapy includes but is not limited to treatment, rehabilitation, prevention, health, wellness and fitness of patient/client populations in an aquatic environment with or without the use of assistive, adaptive, orthotic, protective, or supportive devices and equipment.The unique properties of the aquatic environment enhance interventions for patients/clients across the age span with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiovascular/pulmonary, and integumentary diseases, disorders, or conditions. Use the therapy pool on your own by signing up for an appointment at the Member Services Desk. Appointments are limited to four individuals at a time. Sessions are either 30 minutes or 45 minutes depending on the day of the week.
