Masters Swim Team
The Masters Swim Team is open to swimmers age 20 and older who want to improve their fitness and stroke technique in an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie.
The practices focus on easy drills that lead to mastery of technique, which in turn leads to a greater fluency, ease, and speed in the water.
Compteition is not required, and yes, you are good enough to join!

The Touchy Feely Masters Swim Workout!
Maybe you are not the touchy feely type? Can you embrace and feel the water as you swim down the lane? Are you paying attention with intention? The Touchy Feely Masters swim program will help you move through the water more easily as you become more aware the nuances that help you become a SMARTER swimmer.
This program will provide two coached swims per week Monday and Wednesday night with an optional Sunday 9am swim, a detailed workout will be available at the front desk for the Sunday swim. Hank Lange will be on deck once a month to work more specifically on stroke and technique development.
Practice Times:
Mondays: 7:30-8:30 pm
Wednesdays: 6:30-7:30 pm
Coaches:
Hank Lange-Professional coach Hank Lange has taught and coached swimmers, from beginners to Olympians, for 39 years and he has twice been named USA Triathlon’s Coach of the Year for his innovative methods in helping people learn to move well in engaging, enjoyable ways.
Joe Cerniglia- USAT level one certified coach. 12 years competing in sprint triathlons as well as full Ironman competition. Joe has been coached by Hank Lange for the past 11 years.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE
The Touchy Feely Masters Swim Workout will break down into three segments that stretch over the 20-week program.
November 9th through January 2nd we will be working primarily on long axis strokes, freestyle and backstroke stroke development. The workouts will include technique, drills, test sets as well as some fun theme workouts!
January 4th through February 27th we will introduce short axis strokes Breaststroke and Butterfly while continuing to develop the Freestyle and Back stroke. We will continue to use drills sets, technique oriented sets, condition and test sets.
February 29th through March 26th we will be integrating what we have learned in the pool, are we swimming smarter not harder? Are we faster because we are more efficient with our stroke? We will sharpen your skills in preparation for test sets, relays, a SUPER set!
