As a group exercise instructor and personal trainer she aims to increase your fitness through a variety of blood pumping modalities. As a wellness coach her goal is to work collaboratively with you on a path to your best wellbeing.

Maureen first joined the EdgarMay to alleviate a number of overwhelming ailments. When introduced to Spinning in 2011 she found an outlet and fell in love. The goal of her program is to introduce all participants to an exercise regime that is truly satisfying, challenging and fun, in a friendly non-competitive environment. Maureen has been working toward her AFAA Group Exercise Certification. In Aug 2018 Maureen completed two training sessions with Master Spinner Angie Scott: Heart Rate Training and Music, Motivation and Movement. She is excited to incorporate all that she learned into her Spinning classes.

Jordan will get your heart pumping and muscles working hard in all the classes he works with! BOGA powerFIT is our newest class style which takes the full body workout ON TOP of the pool for a complete body changing workout. Jordan spends much of his time in the fitness center, so stop by and ask a question or check in about his upcoming classes or personal training openings.

Ashley runs our front desk at the fitness center as well as teaching Aquatics, Move to Improve, and HIIT classes on Monday and Wednesday at Noon. You can also find Ashley running Obstacle Course Training programs throughout the running season. She loves HIIT and strength training.

Mary has spent all of her adult life dedicated to exercise and proper nutrition. Because of her passion towards fitness, in May of 2007 she became a certified personal trainer and nutrition consultant. She believes that exercise is the best preventative medicine for both mind and body and they key for a healthier and happier life. Exercise helps control our stress levels while boosting our energy. It allows us to focus and think more clearly, ward of sickness, help control blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Her goal is to teach and encourage others on how to achieve their fitness goals and to incorporate exercise as a part of their everyday lives.

Stephanie has experience working with all types of clients and looks forward to meeting members and discussing ways she can help them achieve their fitness or health goals.
You will find Stephanie teaching a variety of group fitness classes including lifting, Spinning, aquatics, and BOGA. When she’s not in the gym, she enjoys hiking and playing with her two dogs where she lives in Chester, VT.
James is a certified yoga instructor with a background in psychology, plant-based living, as well as an array of ancient spiritual disciplines. He offers dynamic classes focused on delving deep within oneself by utilizing compassion, acceptance, and understanding. This basis enhances asana, pranayama, and meditative practices to foster a synergistic union between one's physical and mental body with his or her underlying spiritual nature. He strives to live in harmony with all life and teaches through a judgment free lens. His day to day experiences involve writing fiction, creating art and music, and enjoying time in nature through skiing, skateboarding, disc-golf, and hiking.

Joni is a Wholistic Nurse Practitioner with a background in medicine and health promotion for all ages. Her focus on promoting individual, family, and community wellness lead her into becoming a certified aerobic, fitness, and spinning instructor. Her experience and dedication to promoting health and wellness create a well balanced, dynamic, and energized class.

Jaimie's personal philosophy is that health and wellness need to be a lifestyle change that takes time and is always evolving. Baby steps lead to big steps. Her future goal is to become ACSM Personal Trainer.

Pat has spent the last few years teaching TRX and completing her group fitness certification so she can help others stay healthy and strong through classes like Move to Improve and Core and Strength. She knows how to modify everything to fit each participant and you will never feel overwhelmed or out of place in her classes!
Aimée began practicing yoga nearly 20 years ago in San Diego, but it was her sojourn in a tiny coastal African village as a Peace Corps volunteer that cemented her love for the balance and grounding that yoga brings to her life. After more than a decade working on wildlife conservation education projects at sea level in Equatorial Africa, Aimee spent five years in the mountains of Colorado, and is delighted to now begin guiding group practice in Southern Vermont. Her classes focus on subtle adjustments to alignment and muscle engagement that bring the pose to the still point between ease and effort, and delving into our connection with nature and each other. She has taught yoga to children and teens, power yoga to athletes (while in her second trimester of pregnancy!), chair yoga to seniors, gentle flow yoga, and yoga for birthing to expectant couples. Yoga was such a wonderful part of her journey into motherhood, so she plans to obtain her pre- and post-natal yoga specialty certification in October 2017.

Kathy greatly enjoys working in the water with all age groups at the EdgarMay. Two of her passions are getting people to be and stay fit, and teaching people how to swim and or swim better. She teaches a variety of classes as well, and helps certify new lifeguards.
